Desk cable hole USB hub

Hi,

Was just wondering does anyone know if anything like the above exists in a USB 3.0 version? Doesn't have to be a belkin one

I'm interested as I'm getting a new desk tomorrow (with two cable holes) and I only have two USB 3.0 ports and they're on the back of my PC, so would be nice if I could have some more USB ports at easy access, as well as some USB 3.0 ones that are not at the back of my PC

Would it be possible to change these ones into USB 3.0 ports? I'm assuming not

I doubt you will be able to find them, USB 3.0 hubs still aren't very common and the current ones are far to big to fit in one of the holes.

If you were handy and enjoyed the art of modding you might be able to come up with something.
The only other issue is that most USB 3.0 hubs require an external power source. I'm not sure if it is a requirement though.

Hmmmmm, didn't think they existed

I think I will just leave it as I have two usb 2.0 ports on my screen and two on the front of my PC case.

I think I will just get an extension cable for the usb 3.0 port on the back of the case and sit it on the desk, so I can use my usb 3.0 flash drive when I get it
