Anyone else use A Teapot?

I can't be the only one that read the thread title as...

Anyone else use a teleport? Can I?

I use a teapot sometimes, got something my mum has been using for 15 + years, tea tastes great coming from it.
 
Teapots are great! We got a small one as a gift, and thought 'meh' at the time, but since we started using it I love it! I'm going off coffee rapidly.
As for it being a palaver: Put tea/teabag in pot, add water, leave it a couple of minutes and pour. Not really too much of a faff!
And, using good teabags, I can get 2 cups using one teabag. ;)
 
I use a teapot all the time. I have a few.

But loose leaf tea I bother with infrequently. Yorkshire all the way.

Not warming the pot = fail

I do warm the pot, I thought that was so obvious as to not be worth mentioning! :p
Had some yorkshire tea last week, for hard water area's, and it was nice.This week we are on PG tips. My problem is I make a pot then forget about it...
 
I see no point in using a tea pot, I'm the only one in house who would drink tea on a regular basis so making a teapot for one is just a waste of time and an extra thing to wash after. Plus I feel like an old lady whenever I hold one.

Teabag in the mug, pour in boiling water, stir until browner than Asim's member, add a splash of milk, drink. None of this waiting for the flavours to infuse poncey teapot nonsense.

I don't find the hard water version any better than normal (and I am in a hard water area).

PG tips I really don't rate. If I wanted something cheaper than yorkshire the only option is tetley IMO.
 
Yup, almost always use a teapot. Makes a nicer cuppa and leaves some left over for a topup! Nothing better than a topup of stewed tea.
 
We used to have a steel teapot in work that hadn't been cleaned since it was new in the 80's. The tea tasted amazing, until we hired a kid who's parents hadn't taught him you never clean a teapot and he ruined everything /cry
 
Since I live in college, I don't use a teapot when making black tea. If I make green tea though I use a small teapot with a strainer inside and get about 3 cups out of it - it's loose-leaf Chinese green tea so it's better than putting it straight in a cup and then getting bits of tea leaves in your mouth :p
