So...

This seems to be my favourite car at the moment, well it has been for a long time.

For the money it seems to be quite good value, and it one of the most comfortable cars Ive ever been in.

I feel fresher getting out of one after a long journey than when I got in.

The thing is though, are they worth the extra premium over say a normal Passat Estate?

Im looking for a totally boring spacious German car, that has a megamega long range for doing lots of Euro trips and the Passat TDi Estate seemed perfect for this, however, I just cant seem to let go of the idea of getting a CC.

It has three way adjustable suspension, which I only ever had on hard, and I am wondering whether its worth the hassle and price tag to get a CC over a probably more practical estate.

Any thoughts?

I drive one quite often with work and find the oposite to be honest, it may be the way the seats set up but I always find I get back ache after being in the CC for a few hours.

I brought my CC in December i totally love the drive of it and how well it performs. It has all the spec i wanted satnav, leather seats, heated windscreen and its an automatic. (I had previously a Golf and Mondeo.)

The wife loves the heated seats especially with the cold weather. Roll on the summer when the weather improves and can enjoy the leisurely summer drives.

Surely the CC's shooting close to the edge of that market? I always thought their pricing was outside of the ford / renaults?!

They do a 3.2 V6 and a 2.0TFSI?

It's not often (actually, never before) I get a chance to correct [TW]Fox. :)

It's actually a 3.6 V6 and was one of the fastest accelerating VWs available.
The new CC no longer has the V6 as an option.

Any thoughts?
Yes, WHO ARE YOU?

I really like the look of these, I too thought they only had boring engines but 3.6 V6? Do want!

Shame they need another couple of years to drop in to my poor person price bracket :(

Agreed, passengered in a mates, seats are awful once you get past their good looks.

Are we talking about the same seats?

THe ones I liked were kind of ribbed accross the way, and looked like the ones in the Passat Sport...

Obviously everyone is different, but these seats REALLY worked for me.

As did the suspension on sport.... perfect for motorway munching.
