Ha ha, true . Reminds me of my shock and subsequent attempt to sue Ford when I found my old supposed V6 2.8 XR4x4 to in fact be fitted with a V4 .

The brakes only have to stop the weighted momentum of the car at speed. Given this 205 (if it is) will likely weigh in quite light, I don't see it being a massive issue. Tyres will be more important
Weighted as in, a 205 from 100mph will stop shorter than a Vectra from 100mph assuming both have similar brake setups.
