upgrade soon iphone or htc

If you're running out of memory then you need to root your phone and get a custom rom on it.
I'm currently running MIUI ICS that looks like this

and I have 0.94GB of memory because of the A2SD script it uses.

Different horses for different courses. You love the iPhone, me i would'nt be caught dead with one.

ever even used 'one' ? its posters like you that made me think android had improved so much since the htc desire era that i could actually love it and reap the financial gains of the swap . i went back to it with a GS2 and lasted 2.5 months.

I'm posting from one right now, and my contract is ending - after playing on both a sgs2 and a hd2 flashed to gingerbread, and a xoom, I cannot wait to make the switch. The iPhone is great at what it does, but now I want a big boy phone!

i want a phone that doesn't run out of memory bcos i have 6 apps installed! android fails me here
i want a phone that when i click on a text message someone has sent me i dont want it to take me to some random message i got 2 weeks ago. again android fails me here.
i want a phone that gives me the basic of functions pre installed without having to find a worthy app to download, example: android 2.2 htc desire basic calculator! where is the % button?????? simple to get around yes by why should i have to when they invented a button for it!

so after playing with an iphone for the past 2 days ( borrowed frm friend)
im afraid to say im getting an iphone!!

i want a phone...

All of these issues can be resolved by either using a newer version of Android or using a newer phone.

Do you want a phone with actual bluetooth functionality, more customization than simply changing your wallpaper, an actual choice in apps that present core functionality, a choice in what computer and applications you can sync data with (having my iphone's music locked to itunes on a single machine really irks me), a browser with flash, a video player that plays more than a handful of codecs?

I swapped from an SGII to an iPhone 4s in November. Much of a muchness. iPhone is better built and slightly nice UI. SGII has more power and you can customise it more.

It really is a personal choice thing rather than saying one is better than the other. Both are equally as good.

So the OP was comparing the iPhone 4S with the HTC Desire? Looks like you made your mind up already.

the desire wasnt bad, but the 120mb that was available was pretty *** poor. I still quite liked it but thats the phone not android lol, I borked mine rooting it and ended up getting a free desire s with the confussion at their awful repair centre. The phone getting lost and me ending up with a fixed desire and a desire s lol. i digress, the desire s is a much better phone with the 1gb of space plus apps on sd. No need for me messing around rooting it anymore :), no issues with android at all. my contract ends in a month so i will prob hang on till after MWC see whats available. htc endeavour looks good but then I fancy a change from htc.

I got the original iPhone on launch day and then the 3g. Was amazing at the time having a touch screen with apps etc. But I was so bored of the rows of icons and same boring look I made the move to a desire and could never go back to apple. My contract is up in a couple of months and am looking forward to getting a new HTC or sgs3 if it comes out as my phone is slow nowadays. But definately android over iOS, I watch lots of YouTube so bigger screen will be great for me.

I can't stand iTunes, annoys me not having flash in my browser, and I am seeing too many chavs with the iPhone lol

cant stand itunes either. prefered p900 / l8r p990i at the time. ton of functions, perfect mobile menu and app screen. touch screen way before all these new smartphones :) wifi, bt, ir, card scanner, handwriting recognition, task manager, card slot, 3D golf xD. android just happened to win me over at desire. not really heard of it before then. havnt yet owned an iphone. was tempted once, but i scrolled from left to right and got bored :p
