Finally picked up my ST

After a long time searching and from peoples recommendations on here, I finally bought myself a Fiesta ST :D

Really thrilled with it, picked it up from GK with 42k miles on it, 2 previous owners and FSH. It's lowered with black ST alloys and K&N57i, they advertised it for £5k and I picked it up for £3600 after p/x :) and insurance was only £37 to change from my Focus until 1st April, not bad at 21 !

Plans for it are to have the grey plastics (Grill, fog surrounds etc) done in gloss black to contrast better with the wheels and stripes and going to get an RS splitter, remove "Fiesta" badge from rear, and got a new reg plate coming for it. It also possibly needs some different tyres (Mohawks fitted atm, going to see how I get on with them first).

Nice looking car but go out immediately & straighten your rear plate. :)

Haha yeah I know, I'm just going to leave it until my new one comes, I bought it from the DVLA this morning so hopefully have it in the next two weeks or so.

Extremely underpowered car. I hear they are still fun though...

Not bad for 21, saying that I had an 08 Focus ST when I was 22 :D
 
The blue dash isn't quite as brash as it appears in the photo, it just works when you're sat in it. As for the stripes, each to their own but I think they are brilliant :)
 
Got a question. When I got home with it I realised the indicators on the front were a different colour as you can see in the pictures above. It seems the orange one (passenger side) has an orange lense over the bulb but the other has a clear one, but it's got an orange bulb so it's clear when being used. How can I get into the lights cluster to make them both match? I'm away from the car atm so can't check for myself.

Nice ST. I have one in black but I think I prefer it in silver.
Personally I'd move the ST badge on the front to the right of the lower grille.

Thanks, just what I was looking for :)

Since taking the pic's I removed the Fiesta badge from the boot lid leaving just the ST badge, looks much tidier now. I did originally want the front badge on the lower grille but I couldn't get it off at the time, I'll probably do it when I do my headlights in the next couple of days.
 
Back end looks much nicer with just the ST badge on show.

Most of the nice little touches have already been done by the looks of things; like smooth rear wiper, climair wind deflectors, lowered, half de-tango'd front lights :p :)

You can take the branding off the climair's with a bit of nail varnish remover.
 
It's one of the things I'm happiest about with the car, the fact nearly everything I planned on doing anyway has already been done. Hopefully new reg tomorrow which will make it look much better too :)

Made a priority of securing my centre caps too, a bit of silicone on them hopefully to make stealing a bit more difficult and marked them all on the inside with marker.
