*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

have to say the music in this game is also one of the best features, sone brilliant music particuarly during battles and just generally wandering around new cities etc.

looking forward to cross real pvp as well, hopefully some new warzones will be out soon as well, not being a massive fan of huttball myself.

It's just the one new Warzone for the big March patch (assuming it's on time) and it's same faction like Huttball meaning it'll pop as often as it does if your on the dominant faction :/

Just saying Hi to the other Immortals on this forum :)

Awesome fights on Ilum yesterday, we sure did kick the Empire's backsides......'The Republic Strikes Back'

Hemock, lvl 50 Jedi Guardian

Yup was a brilliant Ilum run again :), the gap is definitely closing when ever we go in with a full raid + we totally wipe em :p
Im not a huge lover of Hutball, but its all I ever seem to get in WZs.

I've forgot what the others are, its been that long :(
Hate it when I'm in Que and it comes up, I leave :)

YES! Finally getting my laptop back tomorrow after being away for a month of repairs. Seriously cant wait to get my teeth back into TOR on Frostclaw with the TDR crew. With any luck I havnt been kicked :D.

See ya soon guy's.

Naarox.

Finally spoke to an EA Agent about my origin account having a deluxe edition on it.
Apparently my deluxe edition was the demo.
I get the premise of it being the early access, but the deluxe edition is its own SKU

Lv 27 now, still enjoying it. I have hardly touched the mmo side of the game and just concentrated on the sp missions. Love the kotor feel of it. If I get bored at 50 I'll unsub and wait for expansions.

Edit: when you log out in a hostile zone it gives you the chance to log out immediately or wait for the timer. Does it make a difference if you choose immediately?

I think you get more rest xp if you log out in a safe area.

It makes a difference ingame. Choosing immediately saves you waiting, but ur toon is still active in the game world for around 10secs, after you hit the immediately button.

This means your toon has a chance of being attacked, and when you log back in your are dead :)

That's the main difference.

You're still in game & vulnerable to attack for the 20 seconds or so, so if you choose immediately you can die without being able to defend yourself, or knowing, until you log in again.

/edit: Should really have read the post above first & seen it answered already hehe :)

welcome back mate, see you tonight hopefully

yes you do but a fraction compared to a rested area i.e. Canteen/fleet/ship :)

Very true!

I logged out in a cantina before going to hospital when I got back 2 weeks later I had over 3 levels of rested XP :D

Also rested xp doesn't get affected by mission rewards, only kills it seems. So I leveled like a champ for a good while :D

IM level 48 and have never leveled without rested xp (well except for the first 10 or so levels).

I always seem to have that little bit left and then go to bed and have a load left!

It appears that only a xx% of XP per kill is taken off the rested bar. Your rested bar still increases, slowly no matter what XP you get. So it looks like only 50% of XP is deducted from your total rested XP, for example.

The rested bar doesn't really increase, if you mouse over it will always be going down, it just moves closer to the next level because you're getting XP from sources that aren't rested XP (like quest rewards or half of the XP from killing mobs) :).

I'm pretty much always in rested xp, I tend to play for a night or two then leave it for days.

When is this 1.2 patch due?
