Everyone makes choices that can adversely affect their health, that doesn't mean she either understood or realised until it was too late that she was in this cycle....she may have had weight issues since childhood, she may have an eating disorder, she may have a genetic issue, she may have an addiction, she may have any number of problems that both contribute and exacerbate her problems...
This woman doesn't need ridicule and shunning, and she certainly doesn't need the OP calling for her murder.....
She needs help, both medically and psychologically.....the underlying issues on why she overeats need to be addressed, be they depression, addiction, or a combination of issues.
People are overweight for any number of issues, those who are really overweight, generally have an underlying problem....I did, and I dealt with it....but I got help, including from people on this very forum. It is not easy, it is not about simply not eating as much, it is not about being lazy or a glutton....it often has a deep-seated underlying source that needs to be faced and dealt with.
But attitudes like I have read in this thread are disgusting and say more about the prevailing attitudes of those posting than the people they are berating.
This woman needs help, not ridicule.
