*** Official NBA 2011/2012 season ***

This is going to be the worst slam dunk contest ever, in the history of dunking it's going to be appalling. Chase Budinger, seriously just what the ****, he did that All American thing 6 years a go when he was a lot younger, now he looks like he can barely jump and if he still can I don't think he's got any creativity at all.

Lin is apparently going to be assisting Shumpert, so if he gets to the final and it's fan vote for the winner again, then everyone in bloody China will vote for Shumpert just because of Lin. Uchhhhh.

I thought the same....

Personally I thought Deandre Jordan would at least be in it.. There are some much more impressive dunkers (Outside of those who have competed recently) in the league than the 4 guys that have been selected. Wtf

Yeah but its still a pritty strong dunk line up, Derrick Williams has been strong on the dunks this year with Rubios assists, Chase pretty much looks like one of the most effortless dunkers in the league, George has been good for the Pacers this year not seen too much of his dunking tho and Shumpert has look explosive at times when ive watched the Knicks so i dont think its that bad at all.

The dunk competition needs a massive shake up anyway.

To start with they have to ditch fan voting as it massively screws the results.

Also by now surely we've seen more or less all the different ways you can move the ball between your legs/double pump/off or over the backboard?

What makes many of the dunk contest entrants exciting is dunking in traffic! Blake's work for instance is pretty scary what with his hops but surely it would be better dunking over people like Mozgov/Perkins etc in the contest?

Personally I find the Haier Shooting Stars more fun :p

The Rising Stars Challange looks pretty good tho,

Team Shaq
Griffin s
Rubio r
Lin s
Monroe s
Walker r
Fields s
Morris r
Cole r
Knight r
Thompson r

Team Chuck

Wall s
Irving r
Cousins s
George s
Williams r
Hayward s
Splitter s
Brooks r
Leonard r
Turner s

Funny when you players like Splitter in these games, hes a good 5 years older than most of the players in his team.

Wicked alley-oop to Lebron.

21 points down at the moment are the Cavs. :D

nice, thats a game they should easily win though. Watching the Wolves at Rockets, Wolves just ended the 1st quarter 1 point up, 30-29. shooting pretty well, hesitating on the shot a little too much but if they relaxed alittle i think they should win this!!

Knicks sign J.R. Smith!! could make then even more dangerous, Nwy Your look to be signing player around Lin now, maybe Lin is for the long haul??

lol, sorry about my late night spelling, it was dark and i need glasses lol ;)

Bit early on thatv:D He was arguably at fault last night for the loss, scored 26 but had 9 t/o's and screwed some shots near the end. In a typical display of the fickleness of Anericans I expect pretty much zero coverage for him now and the pundits destroy him. (not that he doesnt deserve some of it, especially t/o stats)

Heat smashed the Cav's :D no real shock there though.

yeah, I thought they were gona win by more, the 1st quarter blew the Cavs away really, but 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters they pretty much matched the Heat. I still think the Heat need to work on Defence abit more, then they would be formidable, they are letting in almost 95 points a game, thats more than teams like the Grizzlies, Hornets, Trailblazers and the the Knicks. In there last 2 games the have kept the 1st quarter scores to 14 and 16, i know they cant do that in every quarter but they've shown they can defend. not that i really want then to fix there leaky defence, being a bulls fan an all!! :)

They are like Newcastle of the 90's, they just try and outscore the opposition and damn the defence :D Makes it more interesting but tactically flawed.

I think that was more a case of "this is easy lets just see it out" rather than the Cav's matched them.

true

28 points and 14 assists for Lin beating the Mav's. If he can remove the t/o's or reduce them (7 again) he could prove the real deal!

HEat up by 12 at the mo.

Another easy win, against the Kings this time. Nice to see Wade step up and dominate as well, think its 7 games with 50%+ shooting now. Knicks next :)

Was looking earlier to record it and all of the Friday night stuff is there and the All Star game but not Saturday night, there is a UFC event listed. :( Hmmmmm
