soo...

this is not a hugely important issue i admit, my card works well but as i am controlling and wat it all perfect its a big issue for me.

My rig consists of intel i7 2600k @ 4.3ghz, ocz vertex ssd, hitachi 1tb hdd, sabertooth p67, nzxt phantom case and 8gb of corsair dominator ram and a 1000w psu :D

now it runs perfectly with those specs, but in the windows experience rating it shows up as a 6.6 for graphics when previously it was a 7.9

i do not know what the problem is, i have even overclocked it to just short of 900mhz and it still shows the same 6.6 :S

does anyone know or have experienced this problem before and knows how to fix it?

here are some screenshots of before then after the problem started

thanks again

Ignore Windows Experience and use some proper benchmarks like Heaven to compare your card against others.

Also worth checking what driver's you're using, there's a few threads floating around with various driver recommendations as the newest aren't always the best!

happened to me a few times on my old 8800gts... first it was 6.4, then 5.9, then 6.5...

WIE is crap and always will be... it's there for people who don't game and don't know anything about there computers and gave them some sort of idea how good there system is...

haha thanks for the responses, i meant to put want and not wat :S and i know its just im a perfectionist xD it just makes my pc look good i use sisandra sometimes to do an overall rating and passmarks 3d benchmark too it just irritates me when i look at the specs and it says 6.6 :/ i looked around and i couldnt find any ways to fix it, so when i get further upgrades and another ssd, ill then reinstall windows and it should fix it
thanks guys

My advice is throw your entire system in the bin as it obviously isn't working properly if Microsoft WEI is not reporting high scores for your hardware.

Then, buy another PC and waste your time running the benchmark.

If you don't get a good score?

There there. I know how important this can be, so simply repeat the steps above, throwing money away as you go.

All my love,

William "Billy Boy" Gates.
