There must be a lot of these threads so sorry.

I recently left my pc for about an hour to come back and see it had blue screened i restarted the pc and when my programs were loading up (Xfire etc.)
i went to click one and it just froze for a few min then blue screened.
Now i my specs have changed recently so if u look at my sig i have added

Asus gtx 560 directcu
i had 4 gb ram i added 4 gb on
corsair h60
corsair ssd 60gb

as for anything else i havent really installed anything
i tend to torrent a lot so it could be that

I have tried system repair system retore it wont help and sometimes it dosent even pick up i have a w7 installed or dosent pick up my drives,oh it also freezes there too.

i forgot to add i tried resetting cmos, booting with the new sticks of ram removed and sometimes when i tried to boot it would fail boot and say Status: 0xc000000e

anyway this could be very simple and im just stupid or there could be something serious thats why i posted here, and mind my grammar i have dyslexlia i tried hard and i was using a ****** laptop

Is your comp OC'd also have you run memtest86+ ? I would try and save a little time by running the comp with only 1 stick of ram at a time. If it runs ok swap that out for another stick and repeat till you have found the culprit (hopefully) or you could just leave all the mem in and just run memtest.

0xc000000e is usually boot problem assocciated with a recent hardware or software change.
Assuming you added identical sticks of ram, check your ram settings and voltage in the bios. If everything is as it should be, try a windows repair, using your win7 disk.

And as above.

Can you recall seeing an ID number on the BSOD. This may help to further identify the problem.

Do you have another hdd you could try?

0x000000f4 could indicate a corrupted hdd or a ram problem.
Considering you d/load torrents, a corrupted hdd could be likely, if so do as Nightglow recommended or as i said earlier try another hdd.
If not, do as Scone says and check every stick individually, in each slot, until you find the culprit.

i had another hdd its gone now so no im trying each stick now

just tried every stick keeps freezing then crashes so unless all the ram is gone i dunno

Which bios version do you have?
And did you check your ram timings and voltage, in the bios?
Also did you have the option to enter windows in safety mode, after the BSOD?
I still think it may be hdd corrupted.

and i have been in safe mode same thing crash

After a google search on the error code it seems to relate to ram or hdd problems. IMO you have eliminated the ram so hdd would be my next test. As an earlier poster put could you get a 2nd drive to try or take the hdd out and check it in another comp using the manafacturers software. I would be very surprised if it was a virus but would not rule that out.
