is this phone barred

i was given this phone in a deal was working fine i e making calls but now no signal

tried resetting it?

my iphone 4 and 4s both do this now and again and a reset seems to sort it out.


i'd imagine it wouldnt let you connect to the network if it were barred tbh

If it was a legit deal why don't you ask the person you got the handset from?

funy enuff i cant get hold of the chap ive tried ringing him im guessing hes reported it lost i spoke to network and they are investigating but they said they wont unlock

The network said they wont unlock it ? Doesn't that confirm that it has been locked by them?

Yes it will. I dont think discussions of blocked imei's are allowed, Could be wrong though

Oh dear... double oh dear.

Good chance the phone from Estonia (if it every turns up) is also one thats blocked in this country (and probably stolen and now barred in that country to).
