Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

cheers mate, your Ryu is ridiculous too these days. You and DoomDomain are the toughest Ryus I play on xbl

I tried Marvel kreee but I didn't like the netcode. I'm an online warrior so it was hard for me to progress in that game, but I love watching it.

I'm very excited for sfxt, I'll do my best to be good.. I originally thought I'd play a lame Dhalsim / Guile team, but after the recent gameplay it looks like rushdown is the way to go

You'll be a beast in SFxT.

Yeah they have tried to make the game more exciting than SFIV. I hope to be done with my London project within 6 months so I can finally start playing FG's again... not played them properly (more than an hour a week) for over 6 months :(

Would really hate to miss the SFxT train due to work, as I'm hoping everyone finally moves onto a more complex FG.

Cheers lads!

Well one thing I'll definatley be able to do is attend more tournaments since I start my new job soon and I'll actually have money. So I will be attending all the SFxT tournies and hopefully get myself known as a good player in the UK!

I'm going to try and get back into street fighter - got arcade edition on the way at the moment.

Been playing BlazBlue all evening and man do I suck at it. It's a hell of a lot harder to get into than Street Fighter for sure. Going to practice it because I was getting my ass handed to me online.

Nice! =) I haven't played BB but based on popular opinion it is a pretty hard game to play, especially compared to AE. If you want some games when your copy arrives just add me on PSN/XBL whatever you're on my ID is the same for both.

Got SF4 yesterday, and trying to learn Ryu - I'm terrible! I'm not hardcore enough to want a stick, so just sticking with the dualshock controller, but I really struggle with doing the "quarter circle" motions to pull off any moves. Any tips for a total fighting newbie?

Dualshock controllers are pretty good for quarter circles / half circles - you probably just need practice.

Sticks aren't that expensive anymore either, the WWE brawlstick can be had for £20-25 online which is a damn good price.
