It's true! I had one of the old PowerMacs back in the day (G3, the one that the USA had an export embargo on it was so powerful). Looked great then but jeebas, just running a duster over it would scuff it. Not to mention it was a cheapo steel case with some even cheaper plastic moulded over the top of it and so had the cooling properties of a woolly jumper. :p

They should use the smooth styling and curves of that time with the quality of today's cases a bit like the NZXT Phantom.

In all seriousness, if you want to 'stand out' get a custom case. Million Dollar PC have some interesting cases on their site...

It's also funny that you picked some iMacs...I'm sure they changed the market to minimalism a while back...

I dont want to pay thousands of pounds for a good looking case. The cases I posted pictures of were epic because they were affordable.

And I'm not looking for 'unusual' cases but curvy futuristic ones or ones that look like the NZXT Lexa S and have a stealth thing going.

Tastes change, most people have moved on from the 'look at me' cases and prefer something a little more subtle, so that's what the manufacturers are making. There's still a few, err, uniquely styled cases around though.

And yes they do make cases, but they're all cheap generic low end stuff.
