So we had a major earthquake almost a year ago, which among other things, has left the city roads in a bit of a state. I've twice had to see to the rims on the company supplied Fiesta. Both times I got caught out by random pot holes
And then on Friday I felt a whack under the front when I drove across a bridge. Removed the wheel when I got home and was greeted by this
The car's still under warranty so I had a word with the local Ford dealer but they've ruled out the possibility of swapping the low profiles for a standard tyre. It'll cost the company at least a couple of grand to do it ourselves. I guess I'll just be ****ing off the drivers behind me by going a little slower for the next 12 months. Might be grounds to ask for something a little more robust next time. Hummers are going cheap right now I hear...
