I'm planning on upgrading my Air Cooler to one of these:
1. Corsair H100
2. Corsair H80
Kuhler 620
Kuhler 920

I've got the Corsair CM 690 II Advanced case, so I guess I should be able to fit the H100.

I'm planning on Overclocking my 2500K to as near as 5Ghz. I need some sort of an advice on which water cooler would take me closest to the 5Ghz limit, without compromising too much on Noise & Cooling.

The H100 is best, followed by the 920, then the H80 and then the 620.

I can do 5GHz on my 2500K with a 920 using silent mode so the fans are whisper quiet, the temps are still fine also.

Im at 4.8ghz on my i5 with a H100 and max temps are under 70.c... I cannot get 5ghz my chip just does not want to play at more than 4.8.

It'll depend more on the CPU, only around 5% of 2500K's are capable of running 5GHz + Stable with acceptable voltages. If you are lucky enough to get one of those any of the above coolers (with the possible exception of the 620) should be able to cope.
Stulid has already arranged them in the correct order of performance. The best air coolers such as the Noctua NH-D14, Phanteks PH-TC14PE or Silver Arrow would slot in between the H100 and 920 ;)

I5 2500k @ 4.6 with kuhler 620. Max temp on load 60'C

Dont see its worth the extra money for corsair?

I'm not getting into the air/sealed unit water cooling argument.

So just for information there's very little to choose between the Corsair H80 and the Antec Kühler H2O 920 in performance:

Corsair H80 vs Antec Kuhler H2O 920

The H80 does come out slightly ahead though:

Summary
Corsair offer the easiest install of the two coolers in this test and just edge it on performance. Antec's tubing is great though and their software suite works well, offering a unique selling point that will appeal to consumers.

they are all rubbish :p

either buy a d-14 air cooler or go custom watercooling :D :p :D

100% this

Self enclosed watercoolers are gimmicks. Who gives a **** if there's water in there if it can't do a better job than air!

Higend air is the best at that price

They are not rubbish why do you constantly say this ? For some people who cannot be bothered or want the hassle of setting up watercooling loops and don't wan't huge air coolers hanging of the motherboard they are perfect. Just because they don't fit your requirements does not make them rubbish there is plenty of evidence showing otherwise.

H100 Review on OC3D

I could have phrased it better.

They're not rubbish, they're good coolers. But when compared to high end air or low end custom, they pale in comparison, especially when you take into account price/performance.

If you don't want the hassle of setting up watercooling, then there's no point setting it up, fair enough. Although, many people presume watercooling means re doing a loop every few weeks when you can leave a loop for 3 years!

If you don't want a huge air cooler and don't want watercooling, then fair enough. These would be the best option.

Have a look ^^^

The phantek running passively has pretty much the same temps as the H100 at lowest fan settings

Cleeecooo is right. Although I rated the H100 highly because there is no denying it tops my chart, there are many other things to consider.

1. It is expensive and most people end up spending £20 - £40 more on new fans. The top air coolers are less than half that price and custom water loops are similarly priced to a H100+fans combo.

2. It is loud. To get its best performance, the H100 relies on fans at 2000RPM+ which an air coolers can achieve with fans half that speed, henceforth much quieter. Switching to quieter fans not only reduces performance but also leads to problem 1.

3. Air coolers are more efficient. For any given fan configurations i.e. using the same combination of fans on a heatsink or the H100, top air coolers still reign supreme.

So, although the H100 is a good cooler and appeals aesthetically to many, it is important to consider the above points. The only reason to get a H100 over an air cooler is if you don't like the look of a bulky heatsink inside your computer. Otherwise air coolers provide the best balance of performance and noise if that is higher on your priority list. At the opposite end of the spectrum, custom water is the alternative.
