I've shaved my head for over 10 years because of hairloss.
but i get these red spots on my head with no puss in them.
they drive me crazy as they look awful and i try not to touch them.

I've tried a spot exfoliating face wash for 2 weeks that doesnt seem to be helping. i just end up with dry skin despite using a moisturiser.

I've order some " PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash, Maximum Strength "
wich contains 10% benzoyl peroxide. that is apparently ment to be very good but wont arrive until Tuesday.

I'll be honest my diet isnt that healthy. I do drink plenty of water.

I think i am lacking Vitamin D.
I rarely go outside at this time of year and if i do i wear a hat. i think my head is lacking in sunlight "Vitamin D" but i don't wish to go out without a hat because 1> i'm conscious of the scattered red markings and my head is to cold in this weather outside.

any other baldies have this problem ?

I only clip my hair to no.1 length.
I dont get any spots, but occasionally i get some itchy lumps, caused by psoriasis, but a medicated shampoo gets rid of them fairly quickly.

I shave my hair to clipper length, no comb attachment due to psoriasis and give my scalp a good going over with a quality unfraganced moisturiser a few times over an evening.

Also sun clears it right up as does sea water or swimming pool water.

Improve the diet. Esp Vitamins E and C and Zinc. Take supplements if necessary.
If there's no improvement, go to your GP. They may well respond to a course of antibiotics.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion

Try eating essential fats, rich in omega 3 and 6; drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day, and generally improve your diet, avoiding or minimizing added sugars and such like.

Remember : if you don't allow for the primary exit routes for toxin removal, the lung, bowel and urinary, then it will have no choice but to allow some toxins through a secondary route such as the skin. So, plenty of roughage in fruit and veg to allow well you know...;) :D

If it doesn't go away seriously just go to your doctor, I've lived with spots for the past 8 or so years, finally got the courage to see the shrink and a month later I'm practically clear, wish I'd done it 8 years ago.

hope that whatever you try something clears it for you :)

How often do you change your pillow covers?

This often goes overlooked, and can be a major cause of spots.
