Screen Protectors and Case for Galaxy Nexus

I started looking for another protector on Amazon and I noticed that one manufacturer deliberately makes their protector too small because of the curved glass. One reviewer suggested that a protector that covers the full screen wasnt possible because of the screen contour.

But the SGP Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic has been made slightly smaller so that it properly sticks to the screen:

screen protectors are gay... you don't walk around with a condom on. get a good slip case or only like me place your phone in a certain pocket that is reserved for your phone
 
I've got the Bodyguardz screen protector on mine.

Fits/sticks fine. The whole screen is covered with the exception of a small part near the earphone and forward facing camera at the top.

Any chance of some pictures with the Bodyguardz screen protector?

I would prefer to use one but I tried two different types before and neither would stick properly where the screen curved.

Also I checked the Bodyguardz site and the Galaxy Nexus screen protectors have disappeared. Got any links to where they can be bought and which one did you get?
 
why not get a slip case and take care of the phone?

companies spend time designing the feel and touch for the user to experience, we then stick a 10p bit of plastic over the top... seriously wtf!

I'll try and post some pics up when I get home.

I bought directly from the Bodyguardz website in America and got the "wet-apply" version.

Keeping it in that case is all you need to do to ensure it remains in scratch free condition???

If only life was as simple for everyone else as it appears to be for you! :)

Aha. That must be it. I've seen it mentioned that wet-apply protectors can be fitted fine.

Hi there! Thanks for your information. This is what I have been looking for but I can't find similar things in the retail store here. But then I will try online shopping.


BTW folks, I have bought a very nice case SGP Ultra Hybrid Soul Black. I consider myself lucky getting this one coz other colors are just ghastly
