Prices are reasonable if you go on the Renault organised days. 199 for silverstone in May. Was 179 in August last year

Not for the GP circuit though?

I've seen summer days for £300 on GP.

The Renault days are only the national circuit. The full GP layout is many hundreds. I had one for £190 last November but it got cancelled (something that happens a lot at silverstone apparently).

Brands hatch GP takes the biscuit at £500! You can do TWO days at Spa for that!

Looks suspiciously cheap to me, especially for a late 172 Cup with fairly low mileage.

Thats 1k cheaper than it should be, probably requires a cam belt, aux belt and tyres. if you are close check it out, it could be a steal

I think I want to find a body shop to tidy up some scuffs here and there, cleaning it always results in disappointment as it shows up the stone chips on the front and the scratches on the rear quarters/bootlid.

I'd say anything more than £3000 is where you can start to pick up reasonable early 182's.
The cheapest 182 within 200 miles of me on autotrader is £2695 and it has 106K miles. Most seem to be priced around £3500.

I suspect only if you want a high mileage one, nothing remotely near that price in a 200 mile radius of where I live using Autotrader.

Don't agree. Paying 2500+ for a 172 is madness.
