Is it possible to OC a non K 2500 on a Z68 board? The exact model is in my sig. If anyone knows how to do it i'd be delighted if you could share. I also have stock cooler so not looking to push it far.

Only by changing the bclk and that isnt advisable. Should have got the k variant.

Please read the article i posted, there is somewhat limited multiplier adjustment as well, also i've not noted any degradation with the few rigs i've ehanced the bclk on, around 103-105MHz, longest running now about a year, i think the hysteria about vcore, 1.65v memory and slight bclk adjustment has died down.

You should be able to bump the Turbo Boost settings by 4 steps.

Based on a 100MHz Base Clock:

Standard Turbo Boost:
1 core stressed 3.7GHz
2 cores stressed 3.6GHz
3 cores stressed 3.5GHz
4 cores stressed 3.4GHz

Turbo Boost increased by 4 steps:
1 core stressed 4.1GHz
2 cores stressed 4.0GHz
3 cores stressed 3.9GHz
4 cores stressed 3.8GHz

So if I have all four cores enabled I can push them to 3.8? That's pretty neat.
