I have been looking into watercooling my 600t but have came to the conclusion that no 240 rad will fit in the top of my case due to where the motherboard power cables fit on the Rampage IV Extreme so what will I need to fit a rad onto the back of my case? also what size would you reccomend for a

3930k + 7970 maybe upgrading to xfire at somepoint

As a rough guide you need 1x 120mm rad per component being cooled so you would need at least a 240mm for cpu and gfx card or 360 if you go XFire. Something to remember is that your processor (if overclocked) will probably throw out more heat than a single 120mm would comfortably handle so I would reccomend you get at least a 360 for now and maybe add in another rad if you decide to go XFire in the future.

Your case is not the best for WC really as you have found, it is tricky to fit enough rads in it to adequetly cool your components without modding the case at all. It might be a good idea to check out some of the project logs from people with your case to see what can be done.

The only other radiator spot I've seen on a 600T would be the front with a HDD cage moved forward/removed and a 200mm radiator in place. Might be worth measuring how much space you actually do have up top as even a slim (~29mm) 240 with a 200 in the front would be more than enough I would say.

If you want to go external, look at what I'm currently in the middle of organising, a Phobya Extreme Nova 1080 (3x360 essentially). Has optional accessories such as feet and cages to keep everything in an upright position etc...

Edit: If you want a radiator hanging from the rear external of the case EK do make mounting brackets for such a thing, seen quite a few use them for an external 360.

Yer this is what I wanted is it possible to mount a quad rad on the back?

Yes as you can put the bracket onto which ever fan mount of the radiator you want, so you could raise or lower it depending on what headroom you have (hight above case).

Thanks guess I better look into that problem with thin rad in top is im pretty sure I wont have enough room to put my MB power leads in with the h100 there a tight squeeze and that is 25mm i have seen the 200mm in the front and i like that idea maybe i could go a small rad hanging off the back and a 200mm in the front

What about a 240 out the back and a 200 in the front? Leaving the top of your case clear from obstruction.

Wouldn't look as clumsy as a 360/480 on the back either.

Should also give enough headroom for the CPU + GPU and possibly xfire (though I would confirm the xfire side with cleeecooo and the locals ;))

Yer thats what I was thinking a 360/480 would have overhang at the top guess it would look abit dumb, but if i was to mount a think 240 at the back and cut some holes in the case for the rad connectors it would actually look half decent

The 600T already has 2 holes in the rear (under the 120mm rear fan bracket) for feeding WC tubing through so you shouldn't need to cut any holes in the back :)

yer but that requires a loop at the back going from rad to the holes if I cut them i can have the rad flush to the case so there is no loop on the outside

I presume you mean having a 240 flush with the case and using 90 degree fittings leading directly into the case? If so have a good measure up first, from what I can see the left hand radiator port (as looking from the rear) would hang directly over the PCI slots. Though if nothing is in the slot(s) it hangs over you could just feed the hose in through an open PCI bracket?

I think it would be do-able :) Hope to see pics once its done!

A 360 would look ok. IIRC, you can fit a slim 240 at the top aswell. Maybe have a thick 240 with push/pull fans off the back and a 240 slim passively at the top?
