Do you cry at films?

Do you guys really sob at films & TV shows?.

I just think "that would be sad if it was real/I was in that situation" - but as I'm not & also an alpha-male, I'll have another beer & chow-down on some pork scratchings.

The last time I cried was when King Kong died (the 80s version) and I was a kid.
I made a scene and begged my mum to bring hin back :-)
Nowadays I don't watch movies that might make me cry, I prefer comedies and fantasies.
i use movies to escape not to remind me how ****** life can be.

Saddest thing ever :'(

Apart from maybe...
If you don't cry at those there must be something wrong.

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever cried at a single film I've watched. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

The last time I remember crying at anything on telly was when they announced that it was the last episode of the series of the crystal maze. It wasn't the last one ever I should add and I was about 6 or 7.

The Green Mile.

If someone on here DIDN'T cry at that film, then they're heartless tbh. :p

As said:
The Green Mile
Marley & Me
I think I possibly did at Armageddon?
I struggle to maintain composure when the dog turns in I am legend
And a fair few others.

I'm reasonably manly... but it's hard not to cry at incredibly sad clips!

Now where did I put that waterproof Mascara....

Generally, no. However when a bit of film is accompanied by a particularly powerful bit of music, then maybe you get a bit choked up. Must also qualify that emotional state of mind has a lot to do with it - when my ex left, I had to get a grip over stupid things on tv/film making me feel all emotional :o

But no, not in general when it comes to film. Music, however, is a different matter... I find these difficult to listen to; I enjoy them, but they are too highly charged with passion (for the subject) and with memory (for me), which is one facet of what I love about music :p

They are a divine and melancholic pleasure.

Occasionally, but only when other personal issues surface. Cried a lot after watching broke back mountain with my ex girlfriend who turned down my proposal an hour before hand.

Cried at the end of into the wild after other personal issues arose
