Nasty surprise due to pure idiocy

Our condo building has a common room / kitchen / TV room downstairs - very nice setup. Anyhoo, this e-mail came through yesterday...

While finishing cleaning up the dining room after Pat's party just now, I took a swig from an almost-empty Gatorade bottle in the dining room to try to finish up the bottle. The bottle turned out to contain not Gatorade but urine. Yuck.

I'd like to request that people please not leave bottles of urine labeled as Gatorade on a food table at a party in the future.

You heard her folks. Please don't do that. When I'm going around swigging from random bottles I come across like a filthy tramp I don't want to find myself swallowing urine. It's unhygienic!

Had a mate do something similar with white wine in a morning haze when expecting it to be water. He wasn't pleased, but probably more so than the above.

Plus why would you send an email round afterwards telling everyone? I'd be embarrassed and feel like a plank for taking a swig of the dregs. No need for the mail IMO.

Whilst it's not the nicest thing to leave urine lying about in a Gatorade bottle, I also think it's pretty silly not to at least check half empty bottles left over at parties.....

Reminds me of a formal dinner, tables laid out with a couple of bottles of red nd White wine each.... Our table running low... friend 'fills up' empty bottle then pops over to an adjacent table "excuse me would you guys mind swapping one of your bottles of red for a bottle of white"... other table very unamused.
