Z4- Are my numbers correct, and which would you choose?

Really, because when I rang to ask about the options, the finance they offered me for the remaining balance on the E60 was 4%, as in, ready to go, sign here. I must admit, I was reasonably surprised. Always helps when you're own bank though, for BMW, it's always a great place to bargain on.

There is no way that they would offer 4% APR, especially if refinancing a balloon. 4% flat, possibly.

I am pretty sure BMW don't offer loans so no, they didn't offer you 4% APR on a loan to buy your car. I suspect what they really did was offer you HP instead - so the car is property of BMW financial services (Read your agreement) even though you told us in another thread you own it now.

Did you take them up on it?

Its so hard to keep up with your stories Oracle :(

Ahh ok, I see. No, I just paid it off. It was a piddly amount anyway. Even if I keep it longer than a year, it probably won't ever be worth less than £7k. It probably was 4% flat.

Fox, is there really any need to continually edit your posts, and always dig about Oracle? I honestly thought you were better than that :(

You got an amazing dealy which really goes to highlight the daftness of the figures in the OP. Why spend £37,500 on a Z4 when just over £20k got you a 10 plate example?

I agree and am looking at much lower priced versions, although it looks like the lower priced models are more on the non M Versions which i dont like.

Yes, I took out a loan, to pay entirely for the remainder of the car, until my next payday, which is Tuesday, when it will have to be repaid in full.

Yer and I am now disappoint as you are keeping it, since I have to drive this at your wedding when I was promised a 6 series :(.

Lol, there were no promises. And, coming from an Astra, and given the fact it is and always will be, the nicest car you'll ever drive, you'll just have to lump it :p unless you want to drive the Mustang

Not with the MSport suspension, my S60 was more comfortable.

I demand waft these days.

As for the OP, surely a used Boxster S or Cayman would be a good alternative to the Z4 with this sort of budget.

I was actually joking but I didn't realise you could get a payday loan for 7k!

Sorry, you must have missed the sarcasm. I just didn't think your question was worth responding to if I'm honest, but it's rude not to reply. :)

I'm almost confident a motorway based drive between an M Sport E60 and an old Ford Modeo will result in the E60 being waftier :D

Just to add my 10p to this thread incase the op is still looking i brought my Z4 for just over 21k, all the important toys (in my eyes) see my thread for the details
