as per title looking for a good read,

haven't read anything really since the Dragon Lance and tolkein books in my youth!!

tho that said i've just finished mathesons 'i am legend' for the umpteenth time, so ideally something along those lines. you know the typical apocalyptic fare....

the stand i did start many many moons ago, but never really got into it, can't for the life of me imagine why as i did use to read a lot of king when i was younger. also actually really enjoyed the tv series/ film of it a few years back.

but i'll have a look for '48'

Thought I'd necro this rather than start a new thread.

Just finished The Passage, The Twelve and The Strain. Looking for something in the same vein as these (vampire/zombie apocalypse type) to tide me over until City of Mirrors comes out.

Any suggestions folks?
