Oh please let this be true (QuidCo related)

I'd be excited if quidco ever actually paid out when they were supposed to.

It works about 75% of the time for me, I got stung with the whole 50% Skype discount not knowing it's just for new customers even though it tracks fine it shows up as £0.00. That and there should be a tenner there from Cathay Pacific that hasn't showed up at all, will wait for my 17K first though!

I've worked out the error too, the amount tracked is correct, but it's showing up in the wrong currency, 142,000KRW is 80GBP

I've had about 5 claims go through from Hotels.com - they take forever, but never even had to query one.

I had every single one of my 11 Hotels.com stays (Booked half my USA trip through them) declined despite doing everything by the letter. This was back in October. I've since raised a claim for all of them but 5 months on and nothing has happened yet.

The way to avoid the Hotels.com situation is use a coupon code.

They automatically decline bookings made with a coupon, but if you can get 10% discount upfront then the net result is the same.

Makes my £53 in the last month look poor! :(

Is TopCashBack better than Quidco? I signed up on it but never bothered to use it..

Yeah, I got stung when they did a Partypoker offer a couple of years back. You had to wager $25 (yes dollars) to earn 5 so-called party points then Quidco did their side of the bargain. Lost the entire $25 on horses, didn't get the party points, so not a sniff from Quidco. So I lost faith with it and called quits, or 'Quitso'!

Myvoice works well if you want to make money from surveys though. Have earned £80 from them so far. Just don't do Ciao, they take the urine by screening you, even if you're 20 minutes into a survey. Have never managed to complete a survey under them.

Be interested to see if you ever get anything out of it.

I always book through Agoda. Their prices are almost always the best and if you book frequently you build up points with them to get money off on the next trip.

Their phone support, well there entire support system is rubbish though, ok they still have UK based call centres which is nice, but they operate to small UK hours the whole time, never rang me back about my booking despite me reminding them that would each time (3 times over one booking) so as you can see I'm using hotels.com at the moment and liking it, as well as their free rooms discount (after your 10th night you get one free)

Will see what happens to this next month :)

Hotels.com deny even legitimate claims so good luck :(

Haven't had a problem with them when I have used them, always paid out.

I have only ever had 1 decline, and that was on pet insurance because I didn't read the small print that said I had to pay 1 year upfront rather than go on a monthly rolling contract.
