Thanks to everyone on here who has helped me over the last couple of days in getting my first watercooled setup together.

I have just a couple more questions that I'm sure are quite common questions.

The pump (EK DCP 4.0) is most of the time just whirring away, however, sometimes it seems to go into like an 'overdrive' if that makes any sense? Where it's louder. Is this normal?

I have filled the reservoir, with the pump on, to about 2CM below the black, guessing this is about the right amount? Here is a pic, although its a little difficult to see:

your system is looking good.

the pump will be a bit noisy for the first few days of use. this is nothing to worry about. it is normal.

you have filled the rad the right way.

Yeah also I found that there was air in mine the first few days so it will look like your liquid is like evaporating. Its cool. Mine did it for the first week or so then I just kept topping it up and it runs like a treat. What sort of temps are you getting?

Got a pic without the Kitchen Towels in there?

Thanks all! Will get some pics up once I'm back at home and also get you some temperature comparisons, bad thing is, I now really wish I added the 7970 in to the loop, oh well, will do it when it comes around to changing the water!
