Which 7 seat MPV for £1000?

Looking for a 7 seat MPV, what is recommended?

Have been looking at Peugeit 806/807 (and Eurovan derivatives) and Renault Espace as they seem a good size but looking around, they seem to be plagued with issues although are they any worse than others?

Problem with buying used mpvs for around that price is 99% of them have 100k+ miles. Lifespan seems a bit limited.

Personally I would be looking at a Zafira.

A problem I have with Zafira's is they just seem like an estate car, not a true MPV.

Yes, they have 7 seats but feels more like a 5+2 half size seats if that makes sense.

Also, when full, I would not say they are comfy either.

We got a 2 litre diesel as a breakdown hire car when travelling back from Somerset to Nottingham, was rather disappointed after hearing all the hype they receive.

Their lifespans are going to be limited because they've going to be abused tools that have been ferrying 3+ young children for 10+ years owned and driven by someone who really, really doesn't care about it, not because the odometer has rolled over to six figures...

I think it is pretty much roulette unless you up the budget sustainability. If you can't, stop looking for specific model and buy the least borked example you can find.

Would getting a Peugeot offer any benefit of the other manufacturers in the same mileage/year?

very true, its hard to take pride in a family removal vehicle.

Zafiras are a bit cramped in the back two seats, not really a true mpv.

Chap I work with has 4 kids and is buying a Mazda MPV this weekend.

He had a Toyota Avensis 7 Seater thing beforehand but I can't remember the exact model. Seemed to do for him and his brood.
