No demo yet i'm afraid. What spec is your laptop?

Just played mission 3 of campaign 1 - I got it but i'm not happy, going to replay :)
 
What is everyones username for this game? Mine is phill4321 if anybody wants to add me. Perhaps we can make a list of all our usernames. And as psychopigeon above said, personally I think this is one of the best rts games I have played for a long time. Up there with company of heroes and world in conflict, maybe even better in my opinion.

My spec is AMD Phenom 2 tr core
2GB RAM
GT 460
Windows XP
Other than your graphics card (which I don't know the equivalent) your machine looks more than ample. It set my game up for mostly max settings, 1v1 i've never had a stutter - campaign has been very smooth so far
 
Almost finished downloading for me...I loved World in Conflict and this looks even better....cant wait to play this....allthough i'll be a total noob!

Thanks, I'm not sure of the desktop equivalent of my card either, I play games on the native res of my laptop which is only 1366 x 768 iirc, so hopefully it'll work fine. I can play stuff like Fallout 3 and Company of Heroes on the highest settings, I've seen machines with the same GPU but only an i5 and 4GB of RAM run Crysis 2 on high, and GTA IV on fairly decent settings too so I'm optimistic. :)

No call ins at all. Though you can pull in gunship helicopters into the squad.

Re spec, you're be more than fine - the graphics engine is very written IMHO
 
I've just purchased it! Hopefully it will have finished downloading by the time I wake up later this afternoon. Really excited about it and while I could have waited and got it cheaper in a couple of months... I don't want to wait. :p

Ok i see this game has come out , so i decide to youtube for it and find some gameplay video's

The Guy/Girl is basically saying that this game is cracked which is not my point, my point is there using new game releases and making there own little tools to trick people, what i want you guys todo is flag these video's as inapproiate so youtube notices there fake/fraud video's so they get removed, whats weird is when you click on the channel name FreeGameUpdates , it seems the channel dosent exist???????

Lets take these guys down now !!!

If you check out the videos previously posted, maybe have a look at the wee forum particularly the suggestions thread which shows if you like what be an issue - personally I don;t think you can go wrong :)

if you want my list of irritants

* in ability to see where units are heading
* difficulty in seeing way points
* no way to set facing positon
* grouping handling
* various other minor parts

But to be clear whilst these would make the game an absolute classic it is fantastic as it is and when you play and get used to the interface these issues recede. Worth the purchase imho and the campaign is great fun :)
 
Really loving this game so far! Put a few hours into the beta and today I have been mucking about with the single player. 3 of my friends have also bought it so going to have a few 2v2s tomorrow.

I love the amount of units available, still trying to decide on my nato deck. Going for a mix of UK/US forces. Would love to go all UK but there is a few areas they are lacking.
 
We need to set up a steam group for OCUK Wee players, i'll do tonight if no one else does. Also remember I have a commercial mumble server, if people in here want to use that just send me a message in trust and i'll get you the details
