I'd rather have a Z4 than a Boxster, to me, Boxsters scream "Mid-life crisis"

Not sure why, could be Clarkson's influence, personally I've not had much dealings with Boxster drivers, it's Audi drivers that are getting to me at the moment.

However, you shouldn't really judge a person by their car, even if they do speed up behind you, and without giving you time to move out of their way, they undertake you (I was driving at 70 in the 3rd lane of the M1 they must have been doing 80+)

That's what it got on the rolling road. Officially it's supposed to have 290bhp I think, maybe 295bhp.

Boxster is good but definately more girly than an SLK.

An SLK is still womenly.

Z4 is a mans car.

Jealous of what? yeah I wouldn't complain if I was given a Boxster for free, but if I had than kind of cash I wouldn't get a Boxster at all

If you're neither jealous of people driving Boxsters nor ignorant of how good a car they are then Rotty obviously wasn't aiming the comment at you...

Not that it matters much but I'd have said the SLK was the more feminine car than the Boxster. I'd quite happily an SLK or a Boxster though assuming they were comfortable enough for me because what other people think of my car isn't that high on my list of priorities.

I just wonder when at the lights whether the Boxster next to me is going to go backwards or forwards - thats what I don't like about the shape

they do look quite girly - for such a powerful capable car -no idea why - they just do. The 911 shape is not much different - yet looks much more muscular

but as others have said - if I had the money and I test drove one and found I loved it - I'd buy one anyway
