Hi all,

Just got a couple of questions because the OCuk Tech team was a little stumped.

First quest is about the Team Xtreem 16GB 2133mhz memory, It says it is 17000 bandwidth but on CPUZ it shows as 10700. Not sure if this is some kind of bug or what. It is all setup in UEFI, set to 2133 and timings of 9/11/11/28 etc. here is a pic to show what I mean.

Second question is about CPUZ. under the memory tab my NB Frequency is blank and I am not sure why. I have seen screen shots from other people and it shows for them. another pic.

Hi and welcome to the forum (your first post anyway).

You don't need to worry about what's on the SPD tab if you're trying to see what your RAM is actually running at.

My 1600MHz RAM also reports the same maximum bandwidth as yours but it's running fine at 1600MHz.

Yours is running at 2133MHz (1066.7MHz x 2 as it's Double Data Rate).

Try the latest version of CPU-Z.

The version you're using is a bit old.

Hi and thanks for the reply and welcome.

Just downloaded the latest version but it still does not show the NB Frequency. Its not really worrying me though just seemed abit odd that all other screen shots I have seen from other users show it.

If anyone else has an idea would be great.

I wouldn't worry about it.

It doesn't show anything for my Sandy Bridge setup.

With Sandy Bridge the functions of the NB reside on the CPU rather than on a separate chip.

Presumably there's nothing for CPU-Z to read.
