You do know that practically everyone else who posts in this thread plays on our mumble server right? They all know me very well, I don't know exactly what you are trying to prove here :D

I notice how you also decided not to quote the rest of that paragraph, smart move since it draws attention to your previous attempts to troll this thread. I meant what I said however, if you post something sensible I'll agree with you and we won't have a problem. However I'm not going to have the thread polluted with your false assumptions and information because people do come here for advice and I'd prefer if they got good advice. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that.

As for the grammer thing... I mean, well just look at your posts.

the elo thing was a joke ffs why do you think the font on the numbers was nothing like the lol one?
grammer on an internet forum oh noes.. i didnt realise this was an english test and our posts are beeing graded.

i doubt everyone in this thread goes on mumble aswell... a lot of them might all of them wont..

this is not the mumble forum either its the OCUK forum if you cant be respectful why dont you simply not post a reply at all?

One of the guys can give it to you if they see you in game, or if you set up your trust account on ocuk (hit the trust button) I will send it over to you in trust.

The rage aspect is not acceptable in the group though, regardless of how bad people play....not that i'm sure its a problem just don't want to ruin what is a reasonably nice community.

It wasn't a joke though so don't make out it was..

You were making comments then using your fake ELO as reasoning.

You had disappeared for ages and then come back and your builds are generally trolley and might work in normals with low levels/bots but most of the people who are giving advice are giving solid advice they can carry into most levels of pl

Nope, you're the only one who declined to play with the OcUK community. Remember back when you defriended people to stop them proving that you didn't have super high Elo? Back when you were telling us we were all wrong and stupid and that you knew so much more then us because you were so "pro" at the game. Using your hilariously bad photoshopped pictures as a vindication for your awful builds we were criticizing. Some joke that was, especially when you realized how badly you'd ****ed up (Of course everyone ended up laughing but not exactly with you :D).

While this is not an "English test", keep in mind that people do actually read these forums. It's simply common courtesy to put some effort into making your posts readable, you know capital letters, punctuation and stuff. Nothing special, hell you might find people start taking you a bit more serious because of it aswell ;)

/Waits for mcnight to come out with some build I should have used to 1v5 their whole team.

For my Builds beeing so **** I seem to manage pretty decent scores with them even when I have a player like Tyrn feeding to hell and back.
 
To be honest just give it up, who cares if he thinks your builds are ****. If they are working for you then use them and ignore him.
 
Need an opinion guys. I used to play DOTA. Used to play HoN... Still kinda do, technically, from time to time. However the only reason I ever played HoN was because of my friends, and now they've all left it whilst they wait for DOTA2 to be released.

I was kinda interested in trying LoL... because really, the community in HoN is absolutely unbearable at the best of times. What's it like in LoL? And are the mechanics/is the game engine similar? Would it be easy for me to adapt too, basically?

And thus your play will never improve. Well at least I know not to bother even attempting to give you advice, although it does help when you yourself say your builds are stupid so that we don't have to :D

The LoL community is one of the best DotA-like communities I've seen, Riot try to cultivate a decent atmosphere and do punish people for flaming, trolling, leaving, etc. One advantage of the leveling system is that losing an account is actually a punishment to be feared (Although as a side point to this, I've heard the low level community is pretty horrid, so just struggle through it and you'll be fine). The mechanics are similar enough except more streamlined, for instance; There's no denying, no gold loss upon death, more regen and bigger mana pools, no fog of war (although there are brushes which make for similar juking plays).

If you have played DotA and stuff like that before you should pick the game up very fast, but keep in mind it does play quite differently so it'll take you a few games to get a handle on the changes. Other then that, it's free so just try it out already :D
 
why would i want to improve? i play for fun i get good scores is that not enough?
maybe i should follow some cookie cutter build on mobafire or somewhere and be like everyone else to make you happy.....

i dont want to play the meta game i want to have fun

The only comment I'd make is you're playing in games where people are dying a lot. I'm one of the worst players in our little group and if I die in double digits I'm mortified. What it actually means are all bets are off the snowball nature of this game punishes deaths so although they work for you the number of deaths in the team is probably reflecting the player level, you give me 9 kills as sona and I'll carry :) not a dig and if I played random I suspect it is where I would end up and if you're having fun for me that is the most important thing which people seem to struggle with the longer they play :)
