Hi all.
I have currently got two issues with my computer. One of them is that it is making a weird sound when it loads up an application or a web page. It also sort of stops a song when it is nearly finished and then resumes it after. I find that this error can go away when the power options are on high performance, but even when it is, it still makes this annoying sound on BF 3 and the computer almost jitters for a second or so. Need help soon please!

The other issue is that my computer suffers from an "invalid process attachment error" now and again. It usually occurs after I do a disk clean up using CCleaner(or when I used to use windows 7 disk cleaner). The only thing that I can think of is that the issue may have come about after I installed the saitek X52 pro software (for my joystick) and that it really only occurs when that is installed into the computer.
What can I do to fix these errors please?

Sounds like maybe your disk is thrashing or struggling, what is the age/brand of your disk, how are the disks configured, are they in a raid? or are they independant? Do you install your applications on the same disk as the O/S?

The computer is just over a year old ( I bought it near Christmas in 2010).
The disk are not in RAID. I have my applications more or less everywhere XD
Games are on one HDD which is my E or as I call it SPEED drive and applications like the OS/ cryengine etc are on my C drive, my main one.

I play drums which are more or less in the other room, but when I "try" to play them, I make sure that my computer is on sleep or off. Would this effect it?

When the machine is accessing disk, do the Hard drive activity lights just stay on? or is it a flicker of activity?

I dont see the drumms having much of an affect.

do the disks make any clicking noises at all? Do you download any torrent files? - i believe downloading torrents can affect the disk, i always tend to download anything to a disk other than my O/S disk.

I do not know what you mean by lights :S

It is not the hard drives that make the sound though because if i switch my speakers off it still happens :S It is not just a sound that occurs, the cursor also goes weird and lags in sequence with the sound, like I said at the start, this error does not occur when I am running the system in High performance

during bf3, the noise your hearing could the be rubbish origin sound when it has a notification? at the end of a round it will update the battlelog etc and the noise is very strange

I would love to shack your hand man XD you made me laugh :P
It is not just origin, it can be windows media player, or even when I open up a web page :S

ah ok, just wanted to make sure since everytime I heard it I was like "WTF was that?" for about a week lol.

Can you record the sound at all?
