TV Question

Hey guys, I got a 7 series samsung LCD from few ago.

LE40A756 to be exact.

Does anyone know if if Lovefilm is possible on this model through an ethernet connection, been thinking about connecting it all up for first time. I cant find anything on google/samsung/lovefilms site, so thought i'd see if anyone knows. cheers.

Has the TV got an Ethernet port ?, just had a quick look to the quick start guide and it doesn't mention anything about network connections never mind smart TV .

A series is about 4 years old iirc so doubtfull.

I've looked at a few sites spec list of that model, and all say it has no Ethernet.

its got ethernet, i can see it on back, also wireless capable with the right accessory

i would, but involves a bit of investment, which i won't bother with for the moment unless i know certain things will work/are available

managed to get it on my LAN. unfortunately nothing interesting, just weather and news updates. Need a newer tv it seems if i want streaming etc built in. thanks for people that had a look.

There might be a firmware update that adds additional features, worth investigating. That said, it's only in the last couple of years that players and TVs have started to have useful internet apps.
