Games you enjoyed that are not well known!

I have no idea how well known most of these are but i'll list some anyway:
Evolva on PC
BC Kid on amiga
mickey boom on amiga

Can't think of anythign else that might be particularly unknown.

Apart from a few already listed:

Litil Divil
Inner Space
Bioforge
Deus (not to be confused with Deus Ex)
Virtual On (for the Sega Saturn)

Stop mentioning MW3

Anyway back on topic, these are two more games that took a lot of my life away playing an ENTIRE summer, shame we never had a sequel.

Clandestiny – Trilobyte the guys that were behind the 7th guest and 11th Hour.
Terminal Velocity – Unique game at the time
Incoming – Rage software and was a great game with interesting lighting effects used
Hi Octane – Bullfrog, doing a racing game? Based on the magic carpet engine, apparently they created the game in just a few weeks to get some funds into the company.
MDK – Excellent game, ran like a dog until I got a Power VR (yes I had a Power VR card as well) patch and it ran great.
BioForge – Excellent game but it sold very little, high demands on 486 kit back in the day
The last Express – From the guy who did Prince of Persia, how this game failed to become a huge success is anyone’s guess but it was an excellent adventure game.
Under a killing Moon – Spanned over 4 CD’s, at the time it was the largest CD rom based game released, was quite a good game…

Rogue Trooper was a great little game. Good game in it's own right and faithful enough to the comics to be enjoyable on a fanboy level.

Sort of sad more 2000AD stuff doesn't work that well.

MDK I remember :D

Conflict: series. Slightly clunky tactical shooter games on XBox.

Hidden & Dangerous series, Viet Cong. Old school tac shooters.

"Z" (the original 2D awesomeness, not the 3d sequal steel soldiers!)

Hillarious RTS like C&C but with robots!! Loved it!

I was glad to see a thread fairly recently about getting it for free download :D

KKND
MDK
Terminal Velocity
Blood - Though its quite well known
Myth the fallen lords
Jazz jackrabbit 2
Amok
Pod racer
Ballistics
Red Baron
A lot of others i cant remember

Some weird game where you collected stuff in the sea. I would love to play this again, spent many hours on it. Anyone know the name?

Are you in a yellow sub? Collect pearls and scrap material from the seabed? Are there also "enemy" pirate subs who attack you?

I would also like to know the title of this game.

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident

oooh that was a fantastic game, looked fantastic as well!

for me, Independence War (I-War) which was so ahead of its time.

Edit: also, someone above, Z was fantastic, Lasers were mint, Toughs were also mint!

evony.......

Do you still play?

I played for well over a year but the number of bots being used ruined it for me so I quit.

Also took over my life because of the farming aspect of it with the levels of troops needed :(.

Have never really played any other obscure games of recent times. Remember playing Roland on the Ropes on my old CPC 464 but that's it.

/Edit

Actually looking at the lists others have posted I used to love Terminal Velocity, was rock hard :). Another I have just remembered was Fatal Racing, sort of Destruction Derby-esque but out earlier (I think).

Silent Hunter 3 - not TOO many people have heard of it, but its an incredibly atmoshperic and fun game. Great physics, ballistics and shooting mechanics- torpedoing ships never gets stale in that game.
