Very interested in the new/updated Silver Arrow. Does anyone know when this will be available in the UK?

Seen it listed on a european site at €64.99.

Interesting colour choices! I wonder how much they can really be optimised? Must only be a few degrees between most of these big coolers anyway

I actually quite liked the old TY-140 colour, this just make IMO the phanteks even more appealing.

*Waits for Helios123's verdict* :)

Looks like he will be reviewing this but not sure when.

Helios1234

Can't wait to get my hands on that.

I'm hoping I can get X79 to test this on as that would do the larger base justice. It's interesting that they have gone for 8 heat pipes like the K2 on this. I'm not convince by the fan colours either but that heatsink is absolutely stunning!

I look forward to doing a round-up if possible including the Phanteks, NH-D14 (PWM), and the K2.

Yeah I really like the colour choice with the Phanteks tbh.

Having a colour choice dosen't really bother me because once its installed and the side panel goes back on I don't see it anymore.

Having said that I don't like the new colour of the Thermalright fans. The old colour is much nicer. I wonder why they changed the colour?

Well yeah same and I'd buy the better one even if it were in horrible colours, but having a choice is nice!

Prefer the older colour too, I guess they wanted to distinguish it?

Its the start of a twisted competition with Noctua, who ever sells the most revolting high end coolers wins!

Lets just hope Phanteks don't join the competition or we might end up with fluorescent pink coolers.

huh, I don't get that - according to that review the bigger Silver Arrow SB-E is actually 1.3 degrees worse than the normal silver arrow @ 1000RPM

glad I've got the non SB-E one then I guess, just with the 2011 mounting kit

I should be getting one at some point but will review it on x58 first until I can get an x79 test rig. At least on the former platform, I have a bigger database of coolers.
