suzi, john, ortis sacked from gadget show

searched for previous posts but did t find any!

anyone seen this recently? Only just came to my attention.

I think its crazy to get rid of them and leave Jason and Pollyanna to do the show alone.

not certain if they'll be doing tgs live either, I mean why would you if you've just been sacked!

suzi and john were the backbone of the show and ortis was a great character....

what are your thoughts?

Seems the new show does not require a lot of presenters, and perhaps the other presenters were not willing to travel.

And nothing of value was lost.

You would think it's due to cutting costs... but then they ship Jason and the other chick off globe trekking. Seems a bit weird.

Viewers will dissapear quickly I'd imagine.

The only thing the gadget show was useful for was the huge competitions to win all of their cast-off review kit, the tech reviews were almost always dire beyond belief and as poorly thought out as you could get.
My oft cited example is of the tough kit test ages ago where they used a helicopter to drop stuff from a great height....onto a field, thus negating the most of the energy of the fall.
A cheaper and more dramatic test would have involved nothing more than a quick bit of scaffolding and a car park.

As for the presenters themselves, I'm sorry that people have lost their jobs, maybe they should do a Top Gear/Fifth Gear role reversal and move to a rival channel and start a show up called The Gadget Shop?

That's what i figured. pollyanna can't present either i guess they just keep her for a few boob flashes every now and agian (not that its a problem )

Pollyanna is a rubbish presenter to be honest.

Surprised they got rid of Suzi and Ortis, thought they were ok.

Haven't watched a whole show properly in over a year.

Also they should have just renamed it the Leg show.
