Barbarian is a sword-fighting game that pits one barbarian against other barbarians to free a beautiful Princess captured by the Evil sorcerer Drax. The game offers sword combat in various locales.


There are several kinds of hits, and some hits take off half a point while others take off a whole point. Each player has six of these 'power points'. They also have a unique move called 'death sword' which decapitates your opponent, killing him with one fell swoop.


A faithful port with all special moves from the original version retained for this remake.

Really wanted to like this on the specy all them years ago as i thought it was cool as. But when i got to playing it i couldnt get on with the game for some reason. Had no idea what i was doing and instructions i didnt think helped much.

Yeah seems a bit more effective than the original, also spinning head chops seem to catch them at the start quite a bit.
 
Lol, I thought the game was an intro. The guy came in and cut off my head straight away... I like the idea but it is quite repetitive.
 
I played this to death on the Amstrad CPC464. I still remember all the moves for this flash port! It feels too fast paced though!
