Well im umming and ahh'ing between this and the 3820 (2011) now. Thing is i have the memory and mobo for the 1155 but i can still return it as long as its within the next couple of days.
Only thing im asking myself right now is the extra power consumption of the 3820+ 2011 mobo worth the few % improvement over 2700k? For me at the moment the answer is not really.
 
I was originally looking at 2011 socket but opted for socket 1155 & the 2700k which I have not had any regrets.

It depends on what you will be using the pc for whether its worth opting for the socket 2011.
As you already have the bits it seems a shame to return them :p
