Best driver for 480 SLI ?

Hey guys. Been a while since I have used Nvidia..

My friend rebuilt his system tonight to make way for the cheap 480s he ordered (brand new EVGAs).

Any way he's been running a 460 2win for ages now (about 16 months) and he just asked me what would be the best driver around ATM for SLI.

I know that drivers can be very hit and miss, so the least problematic please

I know there's plenty of SLIers out there who will know which ones to use.

Basically he plays lots of Left 4 Dead 2 but I've been going on at him for ages to buy BF3 as I have it and the single player is gash. I'm hoping co op is more fun.

The latest 290.53 whql release have been fine for me in bf3. Tbh, ive had very few problems with sli and drivers.

I had a few issues last time I used it. Namely adaptive performance issues where it would down clock my GPUs in game lol.

The last problem i can remember with sli was over a year ago. I was running gtx 275's at the time, white screen bug win bfbc2 when using more than 4x aa. No problems with my current 470's.

I've just used the latest ones all the time. Worked fine for me.

295.73 you mean? 290.53 are BETA.

I've personally found that the latest WHQL (295.73) are the most stable sli drivers I've used so far and only have an issue with skyrim with them due to using a 120hz monitor also (green flickering).

its crossfire i alway seem to get dumped on with yet i still keep buying red teams garbage

I received a warning for posting their name.

Basically they're a U.S company who only ship to verified addresses in the USA, hence me mentioning their name.

I think there are some left, but they won't ship to you. Even if they did by the time you got done with the shipping, import VAT @ 20% and "admin fees" you'd be broke.

The other company I mentioned are exactly the same. They will not ship to any address other than the one on your credit card and it must be verified.

Edit. Just to point out. The guy who bought these is a U.S resident and was born and raised there. He lives in Maryland.

Yep, should have clarified that, my sli 470 rig in sig is running 295.73, gtx 460 sli setup is using the betas.
