I don't know if this is the right forum, but has anyone had any luck with them?

I bought a cheapy from eBay, but can't find a single channel (there is a very close Freeview antenna nearby).

I've tried 4 software packages, and the latest one does it's scan, then says this:

Code:
TPs with no signal: 55
Empty: 5
Nameless: 0

Elapsed: 04:00

Video Channels: 0
Radio Channels: 0
Data Channels: 0
Total: 0
Scan completed.

What am I doing wrong? Those 5 signals it found (that were empty?) were at 80-100% in strength

make sure its looking for the right mast.
what software are you using? I found I got better signal from media centre than the software bundled with my old stick.

Ah, I hadn't thought to try WMC! I've tried every knocked together piece of junk Asian program going though. Will report back shortly, thanks!

Well, it said it couldn't find any channels.
I have a super strong signal on a cheapo box, and clear LOS (near enough) to the transmitter area. Should be a very strong signal.

I'm a bit lost!

are you using the cheapy aerial that they often supply with the tuner?

Have you tried wiring it up to a socket in the wall?

thanks guys, aerial problem it seems to be

I stuck the cheapo rubbish one on to a metal pizza tray (no, really..) and it's picking up channels now!
