As subject.

I installed my shiney new 24GB (6x4) of RAM to replace my existing 12GB (6x2) sticks and now all but my main (C: and system reserved disks) have disappeared.

I should have a D:, E: H: or something too, but they're gone. BIOS doesn't seem to be seeing them - windows disk management can't see them either (I guess because of BIOS).

Any ideas what could have happened? All the connections seem to be ok... do they have power? I'm not sure... I didn't touch anything as far as I'm aware :(

Hope you can help diagnose/fix this problem for me.

Cheers,
J.

Obviously when I said "I didn't touch anything as far as I'm aware"... I meant to say "I knocked out the power cable from my PSU that feeds the extra hard drives and shouldn't be allowed near technology".

Don't feel so bad - I have done this a number of times. Badly designed modular PSU's and tight spaces.

Didn't post it though. :p
