Yes same Soc as the sensation/xe

As long as you don't crank the graphics to the highest testing it works fine.

What are the Differences between the Xperia P, U and S models ?

EDIT : The P and U come with a 1Ghz dual-core processor, and we didn’t notice much in the way of lag or juddering when moving around menus. The S has an even faster dual-core chip — topping out at 1.5GHz.

What strikes me as odd, is that the HTC EVO 3D has exactly the same GPU -as far as I'm aware- but the dev's said it wasn't compatible with Dungeon Defenders due to a problem with the GPU, and was outside their control. (It did run, but kept crashing) Now it appears to run on a chipset with Adreno 220. Is that not odd?

The SOC is an older chipset but Sony have managed to get the best out of it than HTC with the Sensation/XE:

At the end of the day, I'd love to be able afford the upcoming Galaxy III or one of the Quad Core phones, but with my low contract requirements I'm not going to spend £30+ a month to get the phone free when I barely get through £20 as it is. I mean, its only now that the SII is affordable for me on £20 a month contracts.

The Xperia S with give me a nice 720p screen, decent camera and more than enough performance with the onboard SOC for my needs.

Read the review.. amazing how well it does with graphics given the same chipset/gpu (impressive).
