I seen one when I was around 9/10. It was dark at the time and it lit the entire sky up a white/blue/purple colour. A really strange and wonderful experience lol

I filmed it mate. The meteor i filmed was travelling south at around 21:30 ...... I've just put it up on YouTube.

it appears the reports of the blue colouring was mostly seen in Scotland, with more southern reports just saying they saw the red.
