It is a well known fact that they do this.

Also I would like to see them do the £100 car challenge again, they did it ages ago but it would be good to see what you can get now for that budget.
 
Tonights could be interesting for the BMW crew:

7/7. In the conclusion of the show's 18th series, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set out to discover if they can go motor racing for less than it costs to play golf. There is also a double helping of guests, with rock star Slash and F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen - who has returned to the grid after two years in other motor sports - taking to the track in Reasonably Priced Cars. Meanwhile, Richard gets behind the wheel of the new BMW M5, which is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine instead of the high-revving V10 of its predecessor. Last in the series.

I was going to post exactly the same thing.

May would have been my preferred choice but Clarkson would have also been good. As he did the review in Top Gear for the previous M5 and if I remember correctly it was a pretty good one where he took it on the roads etc. Not just sideways around the track.

Ah well.

I thought May was doing it, wikipedia lied to me :(

I don't know if it's just me but watching old top gear clips especially "the news" before he had that crash, Hammond was actually quite funny. Now he is a bit irritating.

Hope it's nothing to do with the crash and he's just told to be like that by the producer.
 
Just saw on 306gti6.com that there's a rally cross feature in tonight episode. one of the members charged cars is in it at a point see.
