Red Bull intake...

Friend's kid had 5 cans in the space of an hour, they took him to the Doctors who said just keep an eye on him, didn't do him any visable harm but I bed he didn't sleep that night

It's the amount of sugar in that stuff thats the killer, hello diabetes!

Oh and if you're over-relying on caffeine to keep yourself pepped then you need to address the root cause rather than just hammer the energy drinks.

Drinking it with booze always makes me hyper and I tend to end up being that much more hammered and hungover because of the caffeine buzz and extra drinking I do because of it...

I think I've built up a tolerance for Caffeine, I drink so much Diet Coke that Red Bull doesn't do anything extra for me, I can still fall asleep in a club after drinking vokda red bulls all night

Would rather have a cup of good quality fresh coffee if I feel like a pick up, like some others have said though, cold fresh water is the most energising. Energy drinks are just heavily processed junk tbh, best avoided completely imo.

Our morning caffeine habits are more about coping with caffeine withdrawl symptoms than anything, give up caffeine for a couple of weeks and you'll likely feel more energetic/clear headed in the mornings. He says whilst sipping on a coffee.:p

I gave it up for several months 2 years ago and I definitely felt better for it. The lure/luxury of a fresh coffee or several in the morning, proved too strong in the end though, I probably drink more than I ever have nowadays. Love the stuff!

Usually have one Emerge a day on the way home from work. I like the taste but I wouldn't pay red bull prices. I used to get a can of Relentless a day when I was at Uni for £1 which was a bonus.

Occasionally I'll have a Monster, usually when they're on 2 for £2 at Tesco.

Other than that, not really. Although I love Jagerbombs and Vodka Red Bulls :(

Used to have 4 budget energy drinks a day, till the point where I got 3-4 hours of sleep a night. Stopped drinking them, and the 4 spoonfuls of coffee in each cup of coffee I had, and went back to drinking tea. As a result, trebled the amount of sleep I got.

Don't drink red bull at all anymore, mostly because of price.

Then went through a phase of buying 'kick' from tesco's. Problem was it was 1ltr for a £1 and would drink it in 1 go. :S

But no more :)

I used to hammer Monster, but I've reduced my caffeine and sugar intake a huge amount since starting to lose weight, feeling much better for it.

Only time I have any form of energy drink now is either Jagerbombs or vodka Red Bull.

I used to drink is daily while in work mon-fri and would have one can in the morning and one in the afternoon. I just love the taste of the sugarfree one and only drink the original if they have no sugarfree left.

I have cut down to a few times a week now as I drank two cans before Christmas and experienced terrible pain in my chest, not sure if it was related to the redbull but I've never had pain in my chest before.

About 5 cans in the last 20 odd years - maybe a similar amount of other energy drinks like Relentless and Monster. I had a tropical tasting one that was quite tasty, but can't remember who made it :)
