Urban Dead (Browser based zombie apocalypse)

Just started playing to pass some time at work. Joined the OCUK group, my character is Howie Doohan :)

Currently only level 2 hiding in Fabian General Hospital in Shuttlebank to regen AP. Just got free running, what an awesome skill.

Right now most of us are either in the Bale Mall, located in Yagoton to the east of you or working our way towards recapturing Caiger Mall in Darvall Heights. Darvall is pretty dangerous right now, lots of zeds roaming around, so take care if your low level and plan to head this way.
 
I have 8 pistol clips, 2 loaded pistols and 4 fully loaded shotguns, I'm ready to roll. I agree that fuel and gennys will be the important thing when we go to retake caiger.
Plan should go:
A) kill occupying zeds
B) repair building
C) gennys up
D) cades
E) resupply
F) radio out for support
G) try not to die.

The first four will need coordination. The rest depends on getting some night owls in the building so we don't just lose it while we're asleep.

Once I get a revive I will be able to quickly get to Caiger as only in Salopia, no ammo yet but will be able to stock up once there (18 points off shopping skill so won't take long)
 
Only issue is you will need more than half a dozen ocukers to hold Caiger especially the assaults it takes. You need to be shouting out on the radio to drag the masses across with you because if you try holding it with less than a dozen (really need 20) you are done for.

Will let you know when I get the safe house established between Bale and Darvall.

I'll hover round the outskirts until I level up a bit I get zapped very easily at the mo
 
I tried to Free Run into the the Latrobe Building and ended up falling back into the street. There are a lot more zeds than I was expecting. Tried to find a safe building, but I've run out of AP. I might be zombie chow :(
 
Just started playing yesterday. Will spend some time levelling up and scavenging before I come all the way to Becktown/near Darvall. Currently in Brooksville.
 
Devrij is exactly right. We can do this, but we need coordination. So far we're doing okay - we've reclaimed Herman and St. Izzy's, so we're ready to do revives if necessary. Herman is even powered now. I'm currently holed up in there waiting for more AP.

Craig1981 - how many zeds were in Latrobe? We need intel so we know whether we need an organized strike, or just one well-armed person with a toolbox.

Anybody else who can safely check Latrobe and supply updated intel, please do.

Okay, then we'll definitely need a strike team to clear it out. 2 or 3 zombie hunters for preference, plus one person with a toolbox and construction, and hopefully a genny and fuel as well. Ideally, at least one of the zombie hunters should also have a toolbox, just in case the zeds are easy to clear out.

The best way to do this is to wait until everybody has full AP, and have everybody on AIM (or similar) for instant communication. The shooters should go in first and clear and dump the zeds; once that's done, they should signal the all-clear and the builder will come in and fix and 'cade the building. If the shooter(s) with a toolbox still have APs after the zeds are cleared, obviously they should repair and 'cade immediately. We can't count on that, however.

I have AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and Google Chat, so I can help coordinate if any of the strike team only have one of those. I'm also well-armed and carrying a toolbox at the moment; right now I have 15 AP. I'd like to be on the strike team, but if there are enough people ready to go before I am, that's fine too.

Who's properly equipped and skilled for this?
 
Revived an alt over in Darvall and it's a complete mess, 7 zeds in and around Latrobe. Was about 12-15 inside Caiger and (as usual) every building in Darvall is EHB. Moving this alt out as well its a disgrace, will use him to set up the safehouse for you though.
 
If you're dead around Darvall, move to the cemetery next to St. Isidore's church, it's been our designated revive point since forever... and it's very close to the Herman NT building. Post your profile link and coordinates here and you'll probably get a faster revive than using the DEM revive request tool.
