... a new TV from comet (has to be unfortunately) what would it be?

Would have gone for the 47" LG led at 683 but its out of stock :(

I would go as big as i can,

SAMSUNG PS51D550C1KXXU
51" PLASMA 3D TV

saw this one, 51" 3D, and 5 star reviews, very top price, £699.99 but seems nice.

Which ever Panasonic Plasma takes your fancy. A few around that price (I have a 50G30 I'm very happy with here - £599).

From Comet? Not seeing it.

Looks like it's between the Samsung PS51D550 or the Panasonic TX-P50ST31B any opinions? Really wish the LG 47LW450U was in stock. Can't believe how little choice there is :/ Kind of put off the Panasonic as the panels are very hit and miss with green splodges etc.

Funny story though, this is replacing a 32" Samsung my Dad bought 5years ago with an extended warranty (he did get ripped off back then to be fair). All that's wrong with it is the back cover has warped so one of the HDMI ports can't be used but because they can't find the part they're giving him a new TV up to £700 :p

These TVs in the 20 model were about £1300 - Great TV's!! Thats a steal of a price, doubt the LG will better a Panny,

if you buy from a store say you will only take it if they show you it working. thats the advantage of buying in store.

nice to see your dad beating them at their own game! :)

Don't think its a voucher per se more of pick a tv and we'll send it you. Could always sell it but that's hassle.

Grr he's decided that he definitely wants led, I've tried. Plus I don't think the boss would allow a 50". Going for LG 42LW550T thanks though.

See my other thread for a strange conundrum :p
