Following on from my jumping ship thread, I was wondering one simple thing, if money was irrelevant, for whatever reason, which would you iPhoners rather have, the 4 or the 4s?

You don't even have to give any sort of justification, I entrust the Overclockers are a smart bunch and so a simple 4 or 4s would suffice as an answer. I'm just interested in what the consensus is - as this is the dilemna I'm facing at the moment.

Thank you, and sorry for rambling on about the same thing, but I'm seriously going nuts over this!

I have an iPhone 4 and very happy with it until the 5 comes out. If I was going to get an iPhone now it would be a 4S simply because it's the latest but ultimately your better off waiting for the 5 if you can!

4s is the new version of the 4 in the same chassis. Why would you not get the 4S. I could understand perhaps if their was a difference in size....

+1

I went from the 4 to the 4S, why? Because i wanted to, and i'll probably, no will, get the iP5. :D

With money not being a consideration I really don't see the point of this thread.

I don't get it. What is there to go nuts about? If money's no object, how is the 4 superior to the 4S in any way?

The 4S is the same as the 4, just with a better CPU, camera and a few other bits. The 4 isn't smaller/bigger or indeed better or more appealing in any way

This is odd indeed. Money was my only consideration when choosing. I doubt anyone would have downgraded to a 4 for any reason. At least if they had done there could be a comparison of missing parts of the spec, like camera and processor speed.. s'all I have though =S

mmmm, actually that's not quite right

Even if money was no object, you could still argue that if you didn't need the extra features found on the S you would still wish to save money by buying the 4.

Just because you have a million pound in the bank doesn't mean you have to waste it. If you really don't want the extra features why pay for them.

But that's not what the OP said...money being no object means that you don't care how much you spend on something. If you had loads of money but liked to spend it sensibly then you're not somebody to whom money is no object.

If the OP had said "If you had enough money to buy either, which would you chose, the 4 or the 4S" then that would be a more interesting question.

If money was no object I'd have a Gold plated iPhone 4S,

I find this question a bit odd, wouldn't it be better to ask who had a 4 and upgraded to a 4S (because that seems like a pretty pointless thing to do)
