Morning,

Just wondering the above really. I bought and sold my 3DS as it just didn't grab me in the way most Ninty stuff does. Have been following the threads around the Vita and wondered if this could be the handheld the PSP should have been?????

Havent used my 3DS in months due to lack of games and size of screen. My DSi XL I tend to use more, as for the Vita. Only had it a few weeks, so it may end up in the draw with the 3DS after Ive finished Uncharted.

I actually went the other way, I was really interested in buying the vita but as yet no games have grabbed my must have receptors and my 3ds laid unplayed since Mario land but I had zelda sitting unplayed and thought Id make sure I played that through before buying a vita, as it happens ive started playing other games on my 3ds again so the vita launch has actually reinvigorated my 3ds use.

Funnily enough this was the sort of thing I was wondering. I sold mine before Mario Land, Mario Kart etc and although the Vita hardware is superb the games I am interested in are on the 3DS now! I don't want to make the same mistake with the Vita e.g. buy early get bored - sell - regret it!

I would be still playing my 3DS now but I already completed Zelda back in the N64 days so I aint in a rush to play that again. Mario Kart is a game I play on and off anyway and Mario Land I havent brought because I would struggle to play it no matter how much I want to.

Do you find the standard DS games better for you then or just the screen size of the XL?

I think I'd have to say that in the short time I've had my Vita, it's easily been used more than my PSP was at launch.

One of the things that I think has helped is the integration of my existing PSN friends list, the additional people added to my list from the thread on here, and the use of scoreboards/leaderboards in a lot of games. It's certainly brought out my competitive side in a way I wasn't expecting. My PSP couldn't do that, and I think it suffered for it.

Just got my Vita,so it ain't been played much so far.

But I still haven't fully completed Mario Land (as its bloody nails!!) but will go back to it.

The Vita is pretty awesome though, plus I have a few work courses etc coming up soon so it will see some use and its the near console portable were going to see this generation.

Been playing my Vita more than my xbox, rarely play my 3DS anyway I've got RE:Rev but I'm struggling to get into it.

Neither my 3DS or Vita aren't getting much love since the arrival of the new iPad :D but that's not to say I regret buying them, I think they're both great but obviously the Vita is leagues ahead hardware wise of the 3DS but the Vita doesn't have Mario Kart!

Tbh I think Nintendo suck at making hardware and their strength is in their games and to this end I wish they'd do a Sega and just develop games for other hardware, How good would Mario Kart be on a PS Vita ;)
